Hello, we are Becky and Joe. Thank you for reading our story and learning more about us and how we might fit into your adoption plan.

We met at work in 2010, Becky was the one to spark up the conversation, and we haven't looked back since. Our relationship has been built on a foundation of friendship and has grown much deeper over the years. We found many interests in common: time with our families, being outdoors, working out, and growing our food through gardening. In early 2020, we went on an adventure to Tennessee and were married in the beautiful Smokey Mountains.

Becky grew up in a Detroit suburb with her parents, a younger sister, and her grandma just down the road. Her family consists of many aunts, uncles, and cousins, who were all a big part of her upbringing. Big holiday gatherings and Sunday dinners at her grandma's house are some of her most cherished memories.

Becky is warm and compassionate, wearing "her heart on her sleeve". Becky's friends come to her seeking advice as they know she'll listen with a compassionate ear and help in any way she can.

Joe is the first generation in his family to be born in America. His family immigrated from Italy to Michigan in the 1950s. Joe was very fortunate to be raised by his loving parents and by his grandparents, too! Sundays were for loud Italian dinners and a time to get together with all his cousins and extended family.

Family is an important part of who Joe is - from get-togethers to helping with projects around the house - his attention and dedication to family make him easy to love. Joe remains very close to his parents, brother, aunts, uncle, and cousins and keeps in touch with...

We live in a warm, three-bedroom ranch with our two small dogs, Mylo and Scotty. We enjoy having fun together and tend to see the lighter side of things, so our house has a lot of laughter! We are fortunate to have a large backyard, where we enjoy having family and friends over for cookouts and tending our wonderful garden and berry plants.

We live in a middle-class, diverse neighborhood with many families with young children. Schools are within walking distance, and our neighborhood has many playgrounds. We live near local parks that offer paths for walking, hiking, and...

We are very fortunate to have been raised in faithful, close-knit families. Becky has a younger sister, and Joe has a younger brother. We are both very close with our siblings, and we have wonderful extended families, including aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. We have a great support system with very loving people who are excited about the opportunity to support us through the adoption process.

Our families live within minutes of us so we see them often and have get-togethers for birthdays and holidays. We enjoy being a part of our nephew's life and supporting him as he...

God and family time are important to us! We gather weekly with friends and family on Sundays to attend church, enjoy time together in fellowship, and pray for each other. We also enjoy seeing our friends and family for weekend BBQs, birthday celebrations, and holidays.

We both are passionate about the outdoors - whether it's hiking local trails, biking, gardening in the backyard, or camping at state parks. We've bonded with each other and many friends over the years through local races, the training that leads up to the race, and attending and playing many sports.
